Physician Bio:

Dr. Shelton joined SouthEast Eye Specialists in 2020. With over 20-years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Shelton specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. Originally from Washington, D.C., Dr. Shelton attended Howard University where she finished with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Primarily practicing glaucoma and cataract surgery, she has performed multiple glaucoma procedures including: Trabeculectomies, Ahmed Valves, Baerveldt Aqueous Drainage Devices, iStents, and the now recently discontinued Cypass stents.She has also been performing Cataract surgery using the Femtosecond Laser (LenSx), Multifocal/Accommodating IOLs, and Toric IOLs.
