Dr. Douglas completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience and Behavior at Barnard College, Columbia University, graduating with honors and earning membership in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She graduated magna cum laude from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Buffalo, New York, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Douglas completed her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York, New York, and her residency in Ophthalmology at the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Dr. Douglas pursued specialized training in orbital disease, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmic plastics, and reconstructive surgery under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Kimberly Cockerham in San Diego, CA. Her passion for advancing medical knowledge is exemplified by her participation in clinical trials investigating novel therapeutics for thyroid eye disease (TED). Dr. Douglas possesses a wide range of clinical interests, including conditions affecting the orbit, optic nerve, and facial soft tissues and facial rejuvenation, offering aesthetic reconstructive surgery and various non-invasive treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, lasers, and other energy devices.

How do you spend your time away from the office? I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my fiancé. My hobbies include hiking, e-biking, culinary exploration, art appreciation, and live music.
