Physician Bio:

Dr. Rachel Lusk, a Knoxville, Tennessee native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2011. She received her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University and graduated with honors in 2015. While at IU, Dr. Lusk was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH). Following optometry school, Dr. Lusk went on to complete a post-doctoral residency specializing in ocular disease at SouthEast Eye Specialists from 2015-2016. Dr. Lusk joined SouthEast Eye Specialists' team of physicians in July of 2016 as a consultative optometrist. Dr. Lusk provides fullscope ocular disease management including cataract surgery pre-operative and post-operative care, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, assessment and management of corneal diseases and acute ocular urgencies. She is also skilled in the management of post-refractive surgery patients. Dr. Lusk is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians.
