Physician Bio:
Dr. Whitmire is a board-certified ophthalmologist with an interest in medical conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy to name a few. Dr. Whitmire grew up in the Chattanooga area and went to McCallie school, received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, completed an internship at University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and Ophthalmology Residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine. Dr. Whitmire enjoys hiking, jogging and spending time with friends and family. He and his family are involved in their local church and have enjoyed participating in local and overseas missions work.
